Outdoor Space
Being outdoors is what it is all about at Villa Lemon Grove, enjoy pretty grounds in your private garden, relax around the 5 x 10 mtr pool whilst the children have fun exploring. Sample the fresh Lemons off the trees ( they go very well with a Gin & Tonic! ) The outdoor area of this villa is superb and offers shaded area and a BBQ to enjoy a freshly cooked meal with friend and family. There is plenty of parking available. The area and access to the villa are flat so suitable for wheelchair users or those with walking difficulties.
Living Space
Villa Lemon Grove has a warm welcoming, traditional feel as soon as you walk in. The bright open plan living/dining and kitchen area are fantastic. High beamed ceilings add to the character and feeling of space. The large dining table in front of the French double doors has a lovely view onto the terrace and gardens. Within the villa bi-folding doors open the space completely letting the outside in.
Kitchen And Utilities
The kitchen at the Lemon Grove is in keeping with the style of the property and offers everything you need for a self catering holiday. The kitchen comes complete with a dishwasher, microwave and necessary crockery and cutlery. A separate outdoor utility room house a washing machine and dryer.
Bedrooms and Bathrooms
The bedrooms in Villa Lemon Grove are light and airy and are very well presented. There is a double bedroom with terrace access and a twin bedroom both with en suites on the ground floor. The further 2 bedrooms are located on the upper level which are also a twin and double, both bedrooms have a small terraced area with views over the gardens and share a bathroom.

The Port is a couple of minutes drive away, or an easy 15/20 minute walk. There are sandy beaches, places of interest and golf courses all within a short drive.

The large pool, approximately 5 x 10 mtrs is located at the bottom of the garden where you'll also find a covered rustic pool bar, changing room, shower, toilet and barbecue area.
There are several outdoor seating areas, both covered and open set among the fruit trees. The property is secure with an electronic entrance gate and the villa is set well back from the road.
The indoor living space is made up of an open plan lounge, dining room and kitchen area, there are bi-folding doors to open the space right up and allow easy access to the terrace areas.
There is a TV with Sky satellite channels. The villa also has a wireless internet connection.
Outside the double French doors is a large terrace area and covered bar, with soft seating and table for al fresco dining.
The country kitchen has a large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, large gas oven and hob and all necessary crockery and cutlery. There is a separate outdoor utility room with a washing machine and dryer.
There are 2 bedrooms on the ground floor one double with terrace access and one twin, both have en-suite bathrooms, upstairs there are a further 2 bedrooms, one twin and one double, both bedrooms have a small terrace area with stunning views over the pool/garden area, the upstairs bedrooms share a bathroom.

This fine dining restaurant was established in 2013, an former olive press located between Port Andratx and Andratx. The 20 strong team is over looked by head Chef and owner Joan Porcel Balaguer. Ranked #6 of Port Andratx's restaurants Vent de Traumuntana is a quaint old farmhouse with beautiful gardens and offers a more intimate dining experience in Mallorca. The restaurant has a small yet varied menu and is known for it's fish dishes and in particular their fresh grilled Artichokes. The surroundings are elegant and cosy and the staff are excellent. We cannot do a restaurant guide without mentioning Tims. This laid back restaurant is a must for guests. Enjoy a freshly made meal with a selection of drinks and soak in the atmosphere and views of the Port. With tapas dishes and pizzas it is easy to sit and while away a couple of hours with friends whilst listening to live bands and enjoying the overall ambience. Friendly staff are onboard to make recommendations to make your visit even more enjoyable.

El Coche
This is a well established restaurant that was founded in 1977 by the Bonet Sastre Family. The business has been passed from parents to the children and most recently in 2006 to daughter and Son-in-law.
In 2016 El Coche underwent a new reform to maintain its Mediterranean traditions. This well loved restaurant has a fantastic menu including mussels, grilled octopus, fantastic Paella, pasta dishes including Linguini with langoustines, meat dishes and fish including a popular monkfish dish. For a fantastic lunch head to Es Port. This modern restaurant is located in the most enviable position, next to the sea with a cosy atmosphere. Mesόn Can Paco is a family owned restaurant and a hidden gem in the wooded hillside off the town of Antratx. The town of Andratx can be found south of the Tramuntana mountain range and just a short 30 minute drive from the Capital City, Palma. Andratx is a very traditional, quiet town with beautiful surrounding scenery of orange and almond groves.
Port Andratx is a short 10 minutes drive away and here you will find some of the finest cafes, restaurants and bars on the island. Known for being a working fishing port, there is also a market held daily where it is possible to purchase freshly caught fish. It is also an area where there is a lot going on....
Marina
The main central hub of activity in Port Andratx lies with the Marina. Take a leisurely stroll along the front and gaze at the luxury yachts, relax and enjoy the atmosphere. Watersports
Clear Mediterranean waters make Port Andratx an ideal location to sample water sports. On offer here are activities such as Paddle boarding, Sailing and Kayaking. There are local hire shops throughout the Port. Prices start from about 50€ for paddleboard hire. Boat trips are a fantastic way to see the local areas, excursions to nearby coves and hidden beaches. There are guided tours available and some have opportunities for snorkelling.
Shopping
There are a wide variety of shops, boutiques and markets in the Port. Clothing shops including Adenauer, K&K art and decor interiors shop, Veri 5 aromas, there is also an organic supermarket called Veritas. There is a good size Eroski for all your groceries. Don't forget the weekly local market in Andratx, this is Wednesdays 8am - 1pm.
Hiking
This is a very popular activity in Port Andratx thanks to the Tramuntana Mountains being close by. There are numerous hike routes available including the GR221, a long distance trail (140km) offering scenic routes and breath taking views.
Culture
Port d'Andratx has a thriving artistic community, and you can explore various art galleries and studios in the town. The town's artistic scene is celebrated with exhibitions, cultural events, and art festivals. The Centro Cultural Andratx is a notable cultural centre that often hosts contemporary art exhibitions.

Golf
Golf de Andratx is an 18 hole golf course with beautiful views. The signature 6th hole is known as the "longest hole in Spain" clocking in 609 metres from the back tees. Golf de Andratx also plays hosts to different tournaments throughout the year. It also offers a driving range with 21 tees the fee for this is 10€ per adult and 5€ per child per day. Gran Folies Beach Club
Overlooking the sea of Cala Llamp Bay, Gran Folies is an exclusive and oldest of the Beach Clubs in Mallorca. With plenty to offer spending the day here is perfect relaxation. There are hammocks to unwind in, a restaurant to feast in, Chef Alex Arqueres offers Spanish plates with a wide selections of dishes. There is also a beach menu which has culinary delights such as Oysters and Seabass. They also offer special events and occasions. In the morning they have Yoga, a fantastic way to start the day. Treat yourself to a wellness day and a massage overlooking the sea!!

Fishing
Port Andratx is re-knowned for its fishing market and sells the catches of the day in its daily market but you have to get up early!! Fishing has to be part of this Blog!!
Recreational Fishing: Port d'Andratx offers excellent opportunities for recreational fishing. Anglers can enjoy a variety of fishing experiences, including shore fishing, boat fishing, and even deep-sea fishing.
Fishing Spots: You can fish directly from the shoreline, jetties, and rocky areas around Port d'Andratx. These spots provide opportunities to catch a range of coastal fish species. Popular catches include sea bream, sea bass, and various types of smaller fish.
Many visitors and locals prefer to go boat fishing to access deeper waters and potentially larger catches. Local charter companies offer fishing excursions, complete with experienced guides who know the best spots for various species. I stopped at Lemon Grove with two friends and took advantage of the excellent discount for smaller parties that was available at the time.
The villa is large and well laid out and is situated in spacious and beautiful gardens. There are plenty of places to sit, relax or sunbathe and the pool (unheated) was great for a dip. Indeed, as we were lucky with the weather, we rarely spent time indoors.
The place is a well looked after, and there are people living at the top of the (long) drive who tend to the pool and gardens, who were always quick to help or offer advice. They were also respectful of privacy and always mentioned when they would be coming to the villa.
The three main bedrooms are great with access from each to the patio or their own private balconies. The two main bathrooms are spacious with plenty of hot water. The kitchen was well equipped and the welcome pack of essentials was certainly appreciated.
Location-wise it took us around 25 minutes along the back road to walk to the port which has many great restaurants and bars. The restaurant Oliu is 5 minutes walk and is great for a more “up-market” meal. We didn’t bother with a car and relied on local taxis to ferry shopping or get us home later at night (NB: the taxis rank is empty at lunch time!!).
One slight issue with the small downstairs twin bedroom, off the kitchen, is the water pump for the house is in the en-suite bathroom. if you run the tap or flush the loo in the night it starts up and could wake some folk up. I guess this room is only really suitable to children.
All in all we had a great fortnight in this wonderful villa doing very little…

This is a fabulous Villa. We booked it for a week to spend some quality time as a family (a mum, dad, 3 kids 12,16,18 and 2x grandparents and we had an amazing time. The house has everything you would want and is very homely. The outside area is beautiful and very well maintained. The pool and pool area is perfect and made the kids holiday. Debbie and her team at SW Mallorca were so responsive and helpful and Jane who look after the property and her husband couldn’t have been anymore accommodating and helpful, they were lovely. We didn’t have a car but could walk into the town in an easy 30 minutes and there is a bus stop 10 mins walk where there are regular buses that you can catch a bus to anywhere.
We hope to return again soon.

A charming villa,full of character. It feels like a real home and the gardens are lovely. All the rooms were comfortable and the layout worked really well for two families. The pool area was charming and the lemon trees, of course, were a defining feature.
Overall we had a lovely stay and thought the area around Port Andratx was stunning. Would highly recommend the villa for families.

We have just returned from what was a pretty perfect week at this magical villa!
The villa is very well equipped a real home from home experience, the grounds are large, ideal for a family, plenty of sunny and shaded spaces to sit and relax and enjoy the tranquility that the villa offers.
The Master bedroom opens onto the terrace area with most gorgeous bougainvillea framing the terrace area, as the name suggests there were also plenty of Lemon trees laden with fruit.
The pool is an excellent size, with a bar area just off to keep drink/food cold, also 2 BBQ's.
The villa is a flat stroll to the Port & and the pretty beaches at Camp De Mar and St Elmo just 10 minutes away by car.
We loved every minute and cannot wait to return next year with our extended family .

Beautiful garden, fantastic pool. Thoroughly enjoyed the privacy and comfort that the villa offered. House itself was very homely and nicely furnished. The only things we would update to bring it up to the standard expected for the amount paid would be the TV's and the rather shabby tables and chairs at the pool area. Other than that we loved our holiday here and would highly recommend.

Our second time - came for a week last year and it wasn't enough so two weeks this year and could have done three! It's a lovely house - perfect with a young family as more outside space than you'd normally get and so close to the port. The garden makes it but the house is lovely and has a well equipped kitchen. I would recommend it to anyone, in fact wouldn't mind buying it myself!

We booked El Limonera to share my husbands birthday with his family.The villa exceeded our expectations in terms of location, size and functionality and had a very homely feel about it. The accommodation was spacious,the gardens amazing.We made the most of outdoor living where the patio fridge proved very handy for the chilled wine and beers.
Everyone had a fantastic holiday, spending many hours on the patio and by the pool.

We are writing to tell you how much we enjoyed staying at the villa El Limonera in October 2013. The stay was so peaceful, after the hectic lifestyle we live. Sunday mornings peace was only brocken by the pop of the cork, from the bottle left in the fridge by your goodselves, and the cockerel some way away telling us it was time for a swim in the lovely pool.
The help given regarding where best to eat and shop was invaluable, but also having a B.B.Q in the grounds of the super garden was something not to be forgotten.
My family and I will be forever grateful for our short but very happy stay and hopefully will return again in the future.

Absolutely perfect - lovely house, really well equipped. Fantastic outdoor space for the kids, lovely pool. Great shaded areas too. Minutes from the port - we couldn't have had a better week and are already planning a fortnight next year.

We just had a wonderful holiday! The house has fully met our expectations. It is located on a very quiet, very beautiful and lovingly landscaped plot. We want to come back as soon as possible in any case. Everything was perfect!

Just to say, wow, what a fabulous holiday we had. It really was amazing. The villa was beautiful and lived up to all expectations which was wonderful as you never know sometimes! You guys were amazing too, you made it all so easy which is always a pleasure especially when travelling with 2 young boys and juggling things.

We arrived exhausted and spent most of our time doing not very much other than lazing around, watching the birds, swimming and wandering down to the port. Pretty perfect all round, really.
