  1. Serra de Tramuntana: This mountain range on the northwest side of the island offers some of the most challenging and rewarding cycling routes in Mallorca. The famous Sa Calobra and Puig Major climbs are part of this range. The views are stunning, but be prepared for steep ascents and descents.

  2. Cap de Formentor: This is a stunning ride that takes you to the northernmost point of the island. The road is narrow and winding, but the scenery is breath taking, with cliffs, sea views, and lighthouses.

  3. Randa: Randa is a small village in the centre of the island, and it's a starting point for several cycling routes. The climb up to the Santuari de Cura is a popular challenge, with panoramic views at the top.

  4. Alcudia to Cap de Formentor: A relatively flat and scenic ride along the north eastern coast. It's a great route for those looking for a less strenuous ride with beautiful coastal views.

Mallorca 312

Every year Mallorca hosts the Mallorca 312 race. Normally held in April/May the race is a prestigious long-distance cycling event. It is known for its challenging and scenic route that takes cyclists through some of the most beautiful and demanding terrains on the island.

The event is names after its 312km ride which is roughly 194 miles! The Mallorca 312 offers several route options of varying lengths. While the flagship route is the 312-kilometer ride, there are also 225-kilometer and 167-kilometer options for those who prefer shorter distances. Each route takes participants through picturesque and challenging landscapes, including climbs in the Serra de Tramuntana mountain range, with some steep gradients and hairpin turns.
