October
There are plenty of activites over the Island in October, again a popular month to visit as it starts to wind down after a busy Summer season.
Classical Music Festival, Port de Sóller
Take a visit to this charming town of Soller. Always a fantastic collaboration of Musicians. Each concert is held in the Santa Catalina monastery (now the Museo del Mar) overlooking the port.
Fira Dolça, Esporles
This is a sweet fair - it is! Esporles is the host for the sweet fair, full of goodies to sample and enjoy. The fair was first held in 2005 and seems to get bigger every year. With delicious cakes, pastries and sweets to enjoy this one is always in the Calendar!
Legends Cup Tennis Tournament, Palma
This is a popular Tennis event which sees legends return to the Island. To compete, players must have been world no. 1 during their career, a Grand Slam singles finalist, a single player in a victorious David Cup team and now retired from the ATP World Tour. The entry fee is 100€ for a 3 day pack or 40€ for the day ( please check for up to date prices ).
Palma Marathon
Thousand of people from all over the World get their running shoes on and take part in the Marathon. The route sees runners widning though the streets of Palma. There are also a 10km and shorter runs available.
Red Pepper Fair, Felanitx
A red-pepper-inspired agricultural fair in Felanitx where you will find plenty of markets, parades, cooking demonstrations and music
Oktoberfest
This seems to be a popuar event Worldwide and non more so than in Mallorca. This popular Beer festival takes place every year and seems to grow and grow! Places to offer an Oktoberfest event are Palma, S'Arenal, Arta and Santa Ponsa
