Head to Pollenca for this popular and epic festival. A huge mock battle between the Moors and Christians where locals dress in 16th Century regalia and re enact the fight against the Ottoman pirates lead by Dragut who, in 1550, attacked the town. This event normally takes place over the first weekend in August and gets busy, head to the Town Hall for around 17.00 for some of the best action! It is something you will always remember during your holiday in Mallorca!
This chic Port plays hosts to some of the biggest names in Music during August. Fantastic evening concerts surrounded by beautiful scenery and a laid back atmosphere.
This maybe one of Mallorca's smallest towns but Sa Pobla has been a well know place in the Jazz World for years and has seen Jazz legends since starting the Festival 25 years ago! Expect to see Jazz artists with various styles from across the World....and all for free!
This event is known internationally across the classical music festival circuit and forms part of the European Festival Association. The programme includes prominent orchestras and well-known soloists, choirs and opera singers.
Head to the beautiful town of Valldemossa where they celebrate the life and works of Chopin who took residency in the town for a while. There is a concert held every Sunday, the festival dates back to the 1930's.
