The living space in the penthouse is spacious and light. Comfortable seating and a large breakfast bar for 6 is available, perfect for morning coffees and breakfasts. The living room has doors leading to the outdoor terrace with its fabulous views.
Kitchen And Utilities
This kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for a self catering stay in Mallorca. It has a stove, oven, dishwasher and washer/dryer. The breakfast bar is perfect for 6, ideal for catch up coffees after a days exploring.
Bedrooms and Bathrooms
The 3 bedrooms in the penthouse are all doubles and have great storage. The primary has an en suite with shower. All of the bedrooms are decorated to a high standard and have neutral decor. There is a second bathroom available. Between two of the rooms there are sliding doors that can be opened if you want to open up to a large common room.
Location
The penthouse is located in Portixol-Molinar. This is a very sought after area of Palma. Located just 50 metres from the beach and promenade which leads all the way to the city centre.
In the immediate area you have a selection of specialist local shops including a butcher, greengrocers and large supermarket. There is also a large range of authentic restaurants selling homemade dishes and some of the best fish restaurants in the city.
There a frequent buses into the city every 10 minutes of you don't fancy the walk.
Description for Apartment Portixol, Palma
This is a fabulous 3 bedroom penthouse in one of the most sought after areas in Palma. Portixol Es Molinar is only 5km away from the glorious Old Town of Palma and only 50m from Platja del Molinar. You can walk along the sea front all the way to the city centre or take a local bus which run every 10 minutes. Available to rent for 2 months or more this impressive apartment has a sunny south facing terrace with sea and mountain views.
The penthouse is spread over 2 floors, is new build and minimalist in style. On the upper level you will find the modern living room with large comfortable sofas, dining bar for up to 6 people and a fully equipped kitchen including stove, oven, dishwasher and washer/dryer. The lounge area is light and bright, has a relaxed atmosphere and plenty of space. This leads to the outdoor terrace area which has space for sunbathing, an outdoor shower and dining area. This space has wonderful views of the sea and mountains and is wonderful at sunset.
On the lower floor is where you will discover the bedrooms. There are 3 double bedrooms with the primary having an ensuite with shower. All of the bedrooms have built in wardrobes. There is a second bathroom available.
About the area :
Portixol-Molinar is a local and authentic part of the city and is close to the best fish restaurants. There are small family run cafes in the area and local tapas bars run along the promenade which also has a great cycle track. Close to both beach and city itself, the penthouse is only 50m from the beach and has local speciality shops such as a butchers, greengrocers and large supermarket close by. You are also close to the local sailing club for keen water sport enthusiasts and the cycle path as mentioned goes for 80km! The drive from the airport is less than 10 minutes too!
The building has a lift and underground parking which is an extra charge. There is WiFi in all rooms of the apartment as well as reversible air conditioning.

Via VeríThis is a charming lane housed by interesting shops and art galleries. The majority of the buildings were palaces. There are also lively street close by which are full of independent retailers .
San MiguelSan Miguel is a long narrow street that is in central Palma, here you will discover traditional shops and Mallorcan shops of yesteryear. Leather shoe shops are a favourite for the ladies here. You will also find some brand stores and local boutiques along the way.
Food MarketsOne of the most popular food markets in Palma is Olivar Food Market, this may not be the cheapest choice but its most definitely the largest and most entertaining with people haggling with the stall owners for the best price, the hustle and bustle of buyers feeling and smelling the produce it is well worth the visit! Fresh fruit, fish, meats, cheeses, olives and other local delicacies are on offer, plus you will find eateries within the market, an ideal pit stop.
Santa Catalina market is a Bohemian place full of trendy bars and restaurants. The area is full on unique shops and has some pedestrianised streets. Named after an old hospital this village like area is one of the most poplar and visited in Palma. Built in 1920, the food market is Palma's oldest market, stalls selling fresh meat, fish and other fresh produce are a cooks paradise!
Shopping CentresThere are numerous shopping malls/outlets in Palma and the surrounding areas. Palma Old Town
Old Town or El Casco Antiguo

Adrian QuetglasAdrian Quetglas is the chef behind this chic establishment, born in Buenos Aires his cooking is influenced with home dishes and Mallorquin dishes as well as working in restaurants from Paris to Moscow where he has also been influenced. The decor is contemporary and smart and they have a canopied terrace for out door dining. The restaurant offers a 5 or 7 course tasting menu at a very reasonable price. The 5 course tasting menu consists of dishes such as Cebon with mushrooms and cauliflower with smoked eel. A cheese tasting board can be added for 20€ per person extra. Marc FoshMarc Fosh is the first British Chef in Spain to be awarded a Michelin Star which was obtained in 2015 and has been retained every year since. This contemporary restaurant is located in a former 17th Century Convent in Palma. The venue has plenty of natural light has a modern feel, courtyard and is surrounded by modern art. On the menu is fresh seasonal and local cuisine and the restaurant is open for lunch and dinner ( closed for Sunday dinner during the Winter ). ZarandaThis is a high end restaurant located in Palma. Opened in Madrid in 2005, Zaranda gained it's first Michellin star. The whole restaurant and team moved to Mallorca in 2010 and in 2016 received it's 2nd Star.
