Alcudia
Alcudia is a charming village in the North of the Island. Originally founded by the Romans in 2nd Century BC and offically names Pollentia reminders of the Roman City can still be found today in the Roman theatre and Forum.
Old Town
At the heart of the resort is the Old Town, surrounded by a Medival wall that was buikt to protect the town from Pirate attacks during the middle ages. Within these walls visitors can explore cobbled streets experience traditional Mallorcan houses and discover quaint squares with cafes and shops.
The Market
Alcudia Market is considered one of the best on the Island and is well worth a visit. It operates on Tuesdays and Sundays from 0800-1300 and spreads out through the Old Town with stalls selling local produce, arts and crafts, leather goods, souvenirs and local delicacies.
Beaches
The town has stunning beaches and coastline Alcudia Beach or Playa D'Alcudia is a wide stretch of white sand and clear waters. Ideal for a family day out. Various water sports can be found along the beach.
Out and About
The modern resort of Port D'Alcudia is situated not to far away from Alcudia town. Here you will discover a smart Marina, a long sandy beach with water sports such as paddle boarding and paragliding! The Alcudia Peninsula is also surrounded by scenic trails for hiking/cycling. Albufera National Park is known for birdwatching.

C'an Costa
This is a traditional family restaurant situated in a house built in 1954 and is in the centre of the town. The menu includes handed down recipes including Paella, Fish and Meat dishes. You will receive a warm welcome from the staff here. The restaurant is open in high season Tues-Sun 12.30-15.00 then 1800-2300 Closed on Mondays. C'an Costa is closed between 15th November - 15th March.
